Media Advisory - Joint police project dismantles international drug trafficking ring

ORILLIA, ON, Sept. 24, 2013 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau tomorrow as they outline the results of a lengthy investigation involving an illegal drug trafficking network of international proportion.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Commissioner Chris Lewis will be joined by members of the Toronto Police Service and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to provide information and details about this joint forces investigation.

Evidence seized depicting some of the methods used by traffickers to import these illegal drugs will also be on display. One-on-one interviews will be available following the formal media conference.
